The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.Proverbs 31:11
He is an only child of his mother BUT he had step-brothers and step-sisters from his father with his other wives. And his mother named him Poly John like she meant him to Multiply.
And we always talk about women, families and relationship on how to maintain them. And he told me about how his mother used to cry because his father was with his other women. And one of his narrow minded relatives told his mother that they will kill his father if she would give the word. But his wise grandma, the mother of his mother intervened. The old wise woman said: If you kill the man won’t his son hate you? Won’t the authorities be after you? Don’t do such an evil thing! Thus was his father life not spilled by foolish men!
And my friend told me that his mother would always be kind and gentle every time his father went home. She never quarreled him for his “womanizing” but just treated him with kindness like a martyr. His father had lots of imperfections and stupidities…but his mother kept their family intact with the advice of her own old father and mother.
His mother is a public school teacher, not necessarily full of virtues, but by the way she acted wisely in behalf of her family-she maintained her household like the Holy Women of Old!
Here are some scriptures on women:
